SEARCH TERMS
Enter your search terms into one or more of the fields below. Using more than one search field links them together with the AND operator. OR functionality has not been implemented at this time.

Title/Subtitle Search will search for the entered terms in the title and subtitle fields.

Author Search will search the author and secondary authors fields. It is recommended that you should only enter the last name of the author.

A Subject Search will search the article records for specific concepts derived from the thesaurus. This has the advantage of limiting the number of ways to phrase a search, but has the disadvantage that it may be difficult to match your concepts with the vocabulary used by the index.

A Keyword Search searches for very specific, narrow terms mentioned in the article. It differs from a subject search in that a subject search works with concepts, whereas a keyword search works with specific entities. Thus, a search for a "Rod of Rulership" would probably work as a keyword search; in a subject search, you would need to search for the concept of "magical staves" since this is the concept assigned to magical rods.
